Janet Jackson was groped by her backup dancer more than 20 years after her infamous wardrobe malfunction with Justin Timberlake at the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show.
The Grammy winner put on a risqué show for fans as she performed her 1993 hit “If” from her “Janet” album on the first night of her Las Vegas residency at Resort World on Monday.
Jackson, 58, was seen in a clip dressed in an all-leather bodysuit when a dancer approached her from behind and rubbed his hands all over her chest.

The sensual move can also be a nod to the ’90s icon’s “Janet” album, which showed two hands holding on to her bare bosom from behind as she lifted her arms in the air.
The iconic photo was also featured on the cover of Rolling Stone’s September 1993 issue.
Jackson, however, is no stranger to putting on unforgettable shows, as fans still talk about her halftime show performance with Timberlake, 43, in Houston.

In 2004, the “Scream” singer headlined the annual show and surprised viewers when she brought the *NSYNC member on stage to sing a rendition of the latter’s 2003 track “Rock Your Body.”
“Bet I’ll have you naked by the end of this song,” Timberlake sang before wrapping his hand around Jackson’s chest and tearing off a piece of her top.
The wardrobe mishap saw Jackson’s bare breast, only covered by a silver nipple patch, appear on screen.

The incident, dubbed “Nipplegate,” was viewed by around 144 million viewers, and nearly 550,000 complaints were sent to the FCC.
At the time, the “Together Again” singer’s career faced an all-time low, while Timberlake’s skyrocketed.
Timberlake waited until 2021 to issue an apology to Jackson, writing in a since-deleted Instagram post that he “benefited from a system that condones misogyny and racism.”

The following year, Jackson revealed that she and the “SexyBack” singer were “very good friends” and the whole situation was “blown way out of proportion.”
“It was an accident that should not have happened, but everyone is looking for someone to blame and that’s gotta stop,” she shared during her Lifetime/A&E documentary.
“He and I have moved on and it’s time for everyone else to do the same,” the pop star added.
