“Yes, thank you.”
He didn’t correct her.

She stood, straightened her blazer, and slowly walked toward first class.
Ryan didn’t notice her until she was standing directly beside him.

“So,” she said quietly, “this must be the business trip to Portland.”
Ryan opened his mouth.

She simply reached into her bag and took out her phone.
